PROJECT OVERVIEW



The area hosts a wide variety of wildlife habitats including semi-natural woodland with areas of scrub, grassland, rush pasture, heath, mire and ancient hedgerows and is an important green space for the expanding city of Swansea and Cwm Tawe.


Phase I - Created access trails, composting toilet and horse riding facilities for visitors


Phase II - Site is part SSSI and part SINC.  Links to River Tawe and NCN & walking distance to Glais, Ynystawe & Clydach. Created compost toilet, fencing, seating areas and events area.
