The Valleys Regional Park
Parc Rhanbarthol y Cymoedd
The redevelopment of the boating lake area at the south of the town to create Cwmbran Riverside Park was an important, exciting new development. New and improved links throughout the park provided access for all to the new facilities, the surrounding open space and the river corridor as well as adjacent key attractions such as Llanyrafon Manor.
The project provided 2.8 km of access improvements with associated landscape improvements. The enhancements also included new visitor signage, information and interpretation and improved parking facilities for visitors and residents.
